I'm a software developer based in Mebane, NC, with a background that's taken me from food systems management to full-stack web development — leading me to approach problems practically and with an eye toward the user I'm building for.
My daily work is in .NET and Swift, where I build everything from REST APIs and backend services to iOS applications. I've shipped production features across the full stack — payment processing, digital contract workflows, CRM systems — and I care a lot about writing code that's maintainable and built to last.
Outside of work, I'm vice-chair of my precinct with the Alamance County Democratic Party, where I've been leading the effort to modernize our voter outreach technology. That's meant setting up peer-to-peer texting infrastructure, building custom URL shortening tools, and generally trying to make sure the party has the technical foundation to do real organizing work.

This app was built during a hackathon at BrainStation as an exercise in paired-programming. We designed a simple React app using external web APIs to populate a map, find and list nearby bathrooms, and mark the location of the bathroom on the map. The user can use the form input to search for bathrooms near the submitted location. The map uses Geoaplify and MapLibre APIs and the bathroom locations are pulled from Refuge Bathrooms API.
An early team project designed in the style of a hackathon, we were given 4 hours to build a dynamic website using Document Object Model API and Axios for HTTP requests. A majority of my contribution was designing and implementing the interface. It was a really fun challenge to push myself and to see what my team was capable of after 4 weeks at BrainStation.
A full stack web application using React, NodeJS/ExpressJS, PrismaJS, and MySQL. Displays a user's collection of recipes stored in a relational database with consistent formatting and the option to share recipes with another user. In the recipe index, a user can search through their recipes by title and ingredient keywords.
